Twenty Years of Suspicious Dinners

The Last Act Players have performed in hotels, restaurants, village halls, country houses, golf clubs and one function room above a carpet warehouse.

From corporate dinners to heritage weekends, we remain proud to provide murder, mystery and several crates of alarming wigs to audiences across the Midlands and beyond.

Touring notice

Autumn Dates Now Under Discussion

We are currently speaking with venues about selected autumn and winter performances, including dinner mysteries, weekend events and private bookings.

Returning hosts are advised to contact Nina early, especially if they require period costume, guest participation, or Mick Hennessy to lie still for more than six minutes.

The Case of the Missing Candlestick

First performed in 2011 and still occasionally requested by audiences who enjoy drawing rooms, dubious relatives and weaponry that fits comfortably inside a prop box.

The script has been revised several times since its original tour, mostly to remove a clue sequence Simon insists "worked perfectly well if people listened properly."
